Bibelot (small object of curiosity, beauty, or rarity) is an artisanal patisserie, gelateria, chocolatier and high tea salon based in South Melbourne. We drew upon mosaic tiling and lettering as a theme to create a striking new brand and packaging suite. The customised and detailed lettering is geometric to give a sense of modernity and avoid the pastiche.

The suite of patterns lend the packaging variety whilst remaining united by a palette of black and cream. Chocolate boxes come with pops of colours to provide a distinction between flavours.

Cake boxes in a variety of sizes feature customised straps, which extend from their display format to become handles, transforming the box into a carry bag — sustainably and economically eliminating the need for an additional bag.
